The Challenge
Kayo Sports wanted to make some noise around their coverage of the upcoming summer of cricket, which included the Indian cricket team playing Australia in all formats.
Being a sales driver for subscriptions, it was critical that they focus on markets with optimal opportunity for new subscribers.
The Idea
Fox Cricket experts travelled to the heartland of cricket; we orchestrated a public spectacle in Paramatta Square that drew over 1000 cricket fans. This Local Government Area was the perfect location as Paramatta holds the highest density of Kayo Sports cricket subscribers. We partnered with Paramatta Council, Parramatta District Cricket Association, Cricket Australia, and the Sydney Thunder to ensure the event was on every fan's radar.
The Outcome
Kayo’s highest ever social views - 1.7million. 1.5million engagements with a the commentary teams selfie. Deemed Kayo Sports most successful launch ever, and set the model for all future launches
